Gece bulutsuz, a\u00e7\u0131k g\u00f6ky\u00fcz\u00fcnde ve tam karanl\u0131kta Mars ve Ven\u00fcs gibi baz\u0131 gezegenler parlak y\u0131ld\u0131zlar gibi g\u00f6r\u00fclebilirler. Ancak Nept\u00fcn g\u00fc\u00e7l\u00fc bir teleskop arac\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131yla bak\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131nda soluk mavi renkli bir daire \u015feklinde g\u00f6r\u00fclebilir.<\/p>\n<p>Gezegenlerin y\u0131ld\u0131zlar gibi kendi \u0131\u015f\u0131klar\u0131 yoktur. Gezegenler G\u00fcne\u015fin \u00e7evresinde belli bir y\u00f6r\u00fcnge izlerler. Bu y\u00f6r\u00fcngenin \u015fekli G\u00fcne\u015fin \u00e7ekim g\u00fcc\u00fcne ba\u011fl\u0131 oldu\u011fu gibi di\u011fer gezegenlerin \u00e7ekim g\u00fcc\u00fcnden de etkilenir. Bilim adamlar\u0131 G\u00fcne\u015fin ve G\u00fcne\u015fe en yak\u0131n gezegenler olan J\u00fcpiter ve Sat\u00fcrn\u2019\u00fcn \u00e7ekim g\u00fc\u00e7lerini dikkate alarak Uran\u00fcs\u2019 un izlemesi gereken y\u00f6r\u00fcngeyi hesaplam\u0131\u015flard\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>Ancak Uran\u00fcs\u2019\u00fcn beklenilen y\u00f6r\u00fcngeyi izlemedi\u011fi g\u00f6r\u00fclm\u00fc\u015f ve bunun \u00fczerine Uran\u00fcs\u2019\u00fcn G\u00fcne\u015ften daha da uzak olan ba\u015fka bir gezegenin \u00e7ekim g\u00fcc\u00fcnden etkilendi\u011fi d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fclm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr. Daha sonra birbirlerinden habersiz olarak \u00e7al\u0131\u015fan iki matematik uzman\u0131, \u0130ngiliz <strong>John Adams<\/strong> ve Frans\u0131z <strong>Urbam Leverrier<\/strong>, yeni gezegenin yerini birbirlerinden \u00e7ok az farkl\u0131 olarak saptam\u0131\u015flard\u0131r. Buna g\u00f6re, bulundu\u011fundan bu yana tam bir d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015f tamamlamam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.
